Orly Maiberg

b. 1958, Israel. Lives and works in Israel.

Her work is based on an ongoing contemporary discourse between painting and photography, preoccupied with images of reality. Her photographs depict the human figure in daily gestures situated against local landscapes while the painterly narrative allows her to deal with dilemmas concerning the body durability versus its vulnerability and its demise.
