Ahmet Elhan

b. 1959, İzmir, Turkey. Lives and works in İstanbul.

I believe that with the expanding of digital technology, both ontological and phenomenological questioning of image production is reconsidered at least by some photographers. I bring such questioning to my works and consistently follow through on this basis. More so, in my works I pursued the sensible, observing “subject” that regards vision as an actuality in the context of evolving historical, social and political circumstances.
